BMU A25
Atechbcn Solution
Headquarters of the French journal ‘Le Monde’, one of the most important newspapers in France, generally considered as the French newspaper of record. The original building dates from the 1970s.
Le Monde Group chosen Atechbcn as BMU partner, in collaboration with our local partner to design their access strategy of new headquarters in Paris.
The roof top is inclined in the maxim slope at 10 degrees. In this case, an special climbing solution has been chosen. The particularity of this design is that the BMU, A25 with SWL 240 Kg, is running climbing up and down without any rack and pinion system.
Another technical challenge for this emblematic building in the heart of Paris.
The client was initially considering a different system for their building access needs. However in consultation with the expert Atechbcn team, they established that this system provided only from Atechbcn, it would be more efficient and would provide a coverage from the sloped roof structure.
